Julane “Julie” (Sprague) Baggett, of rural Pierceton, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 in her home.
Born on January 4, 1951, she had recently celebrated her 69th birthday. She was the daughter of Lou Sprague and Margie (Lane) Sprague and one of four Sprague children. She was born in Warsaw and attended Warsaw High School where she graduated with the class of 1969.
A devoted Christian, Julie was a feisty, fun-loving person with a playful but ornery streak. She had a good sense of humor and was a lover of all kinds of music. Her favorites include Stevie Nicks, Mercy Me and anything gospel.
Those who survive with memories to cherish include three children: sons, Jason (Sheila) Mauk of Pierceton and Matt (Randi Tinsley) Mauk of Winona Lake; daughter, Stacey (Lisa Reyes) Mauk of Fort Wayne and mother, Margie Sprague of Parker City. Also surviving are four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two brothers, Brad and Scott Sprague. She was preceded in passing by her father, Lou Sprague and brother, Mark Sprague.
A private graveside service will be held in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home.
