June U. Berg, 85, of Syracuse died at 12:18 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at Miller's Merry Manor in Syracuse, IN. She was born on October 1, 1922 in Liberty, IN to John & Ada (Lamb) Spahr.
She graduated from Morton High School in Richmond, IN and was married Lester L. Berg who preceded her in 1978. She moved to Syracuse in March 2007 from Muncie, IN and formerly attended the College Avenue United Methodist Church in Muncie.
She is survived by:
3 Sons - Stephen E. (wife, Penny) Berg of Cromwell, Jeffrey A. (wife, Wendy) Berg of Sun City, AZ, & Peter E. Berg of Indianapolis, IN
2 Granddaughters, 2 Step Granddaughters, 2 Gt. Grand, 3 Step Gt. Grandchildren
She was preceded by her parents, husband, twin brother - John Spahr, & 1 sister - Marie Vance.
No public visitation or services are planned. Private family graveside services will be held at Elkhorn Cemetery, in Richmond, IN.
