June Foerg

June Darlene Foerg, of Syracuse, passed away on June 19, 2024 in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was 84 years old. She was born on June 2, 1940 in Crown Point, Indiana to George and Mary Schneider. 

June (also known as Junebug and Foergie) was quick to laugh and a very energetic person. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crocheting. She enjoyed making and giving away sewing projects to family and friends. She even loved teaching family friends to sew.

June has held many occupations over her life. Most notable is her time as a production controller and first female foreman at PTC LinkBelt in Indianapolis. She also worked at BASF Agrochemicals sales office in Indianapolis for many years. She was a member of many organizations over the years like Tri Kappa Sorority of Zionsville, Newcomers, and the Zionsville Fire Department Support Services. 

She is survived by her husband, John, of 64 years, her son Travis, and her brother George Schneider, Jr. June will be buried with a private graveside service at Syracuse Cemetery. A Life Celebration® ceremony for June will be held from 12pm to 5pm on August 4, 2024 at the Syracuse Community Center at 1013 N. Long Drive, Syracuse, IN 46567.
