Biography
June Diane Shank passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Florida at Venice Regional Bayfront Health. She was 74 years old at the time of her death.
Born on November 17, 1942 in Muncie, Indiana, June was the daughter of Wilbur and Opal (Ward) Reynard). She was a graduate of nearby DeSoto High School, graduating with the class of 1960.
She spent most of her adult life in the Warsaw, Indiana area and had worked for Zimmer. Although she held several positions at Zimmer, June retired from her position as a quality auditor in 1997.
June loved to do needlework, including sewing and quilting. She loved to travel and was an avid player of cards and board games. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Warsaw and a fan of several sports. Her favorite teams included the Chicago Cubs, Tampa Bay Rays, Indiana University Basketball, Indianapolis Colts, and University of Notre Dame.
June will be missed by many. Those who survive with hearts full of memories include her four children – three daughters: Jama (Coy) Oldsen of Sarasota, FL, Debbie (Chris) Moore of Akron, IN and Laura (Ryan) Riggle of Warsaw, IN; son, Mark (Paula) Shank of Pierceton, IN; good friend, Don Jaynes of Warsaw, IN and two brothers, William (Dona) Robertson of Phoenix, AZ and Stephen P. Reynard. She is also survived and dearly missed by seven grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
Those who preceded June in death include her parents, Wilbur and Opal, and sisters, Linda Gibbons and Jama Burkhart.
Friends may join family for visitation and to share memories of June on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 4 - 8 PM at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2nd at 10:30 AM. Pastor Ernie Troxell of Warsaw’s Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
