Junior Hale, age 49, passed away at 12:50 PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in his Warsaw, Indiana home.
Junior was born May 12, 1966 in Prestonsburg, KY. He was the son of Bertha Hale. Although born in Kentucky, Junior spent the last 30 years living in Kosciusko County, Indiana.
He was employed by Maple Leaf Farms, Inc. for 15 years before his health forced him to step down. Despite this, Junior continued to enjoy gardening, working on small engines, listening to bluegrass music and watching westerns. He was a former member of the American Legion and enjoyed fishing whenever he could. He especially enjoyed fishing for trout in Colorado.
Junior’s passing leaves a large group of family and friends to cherish his memory. Surviving is his companion: Susie Cummings of Warsaw; three daughters: Dawn (husband David) Siegler of Indianapolis, Indiana Amy (husband Steve) Jackson of Greenwood, Indiana and Carrie (husband Dustin) Young of Leesburg, Indiana; two brothers: Sam (wife Sylvia) Hale of Whitedeer, Texas and Dewayne (wife Tammy) Damron of Pampa, Texas; four sisters: Audra (husband Joe) of Pampa, Texas, Vickie Perkins of Huntington, Indiana, Delores (husband Chris) Reyna of Tulia, Texas, and Rachael Gonzales of Huntington, Indiana; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Junior was preceded in death by his mother: Bertha Gonzales and his brother: Bert Damron (May 11, 1986).
Private family services were held at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that gifts be made to Animal Welfare League, PO Box 1906 Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1906.
