Karen Sue Drake

Karen Sue Drake, 62, of Syracuse, IN passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at her home. She was born on April 7, 1951 in Colon, MI to Arthur R & Kathleen I. (Randall) Wyatt.

She attended Colon High School and moved to the North Webster / Syracuse area 40 years ago from Michigan. She was employed at Parker Hannifin in Syracuse since 1994 and formerly worked at Laketronics in Syracuse for 10+ years and White’ s Service Station in North Webster for 4 years.

She is survived by:
4 Daughters – Vickie (Steve) Miller of Nappanee; Amy Drake of Fort Wayne; Twins - Tiffany Drake & Tosha (Josh) Stabler both of Syracuse
6 Grandchildren
2 Sisters – Carol Ann (C.J.) Wooster of Orland, IN & Marcella McGlothlen of Three Rivers, MI
2 Brothers – Arthur (Suzanne) Wyatt of Granger & Wayne Lee Wyatt of Centerville, MI
Lifetime Companion – Russell Cripps of North Webster

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter – Tina Ebbeler, & brother - Floyd Wyatt.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Private family burial will take place in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bourbon, IN.

Memorial bequest may be given to the American Heart Association, 6100 W 96th St., Indianapolis, IN 46278. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
