Katherine Glaspy

Katherine Glaspy, born on April 3, 1936, in Tiffin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 18 2024, in North Webster, Indiana. She was known for her dedication and hard work throughout her life, especially during her career as a Business Manager at Briarfield, from which she retired in 1976.

Katherine, whose maiden name was Barker, was an accomplished individual graduating from Old Fort High School. She furthered her education by receiving an Associate degree in Accounting from CCS of Pennsylvania.

On August 22, 1954, she married Jimmy Glaspy Sr., with whom she shared many cherished moments. Katherine is survived by her loving family, including her children: Jimmy "Jim" Glaspy of Texas, Jacquelynne Randall of North Webster, Kam Glaspy of Ohio, and Katrina (Larry) Pitchford of Ohio. She was also the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren, delighted in the company of 38 great-grandchildren, and enjoyed the presence of 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Glaspy Sr., as well as her parents, George and Mary Campbell Barker, and her brothers Richard, William, Edward, and Larry Barker. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Rosetta Cleveland, Claudette "Sue" Goodwin, Edith Poole, and Georgia Suddon.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8056 E. 500 N. North Webster, IN 46555 are entrusted with caring for Katherine and her family. No services will be held.
