Kathryn I. "Kay" Beezley

Kathryn Irene “Kay” Beezley, 89, of North Webster, IN passed away at 1:12 a.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at her daughter’s home. She was born on December 8, 1927 in Deer Creek, IL to Arthur C. & Minnie K. (Dietrich) Hunteman.

She graduated in 1946 from Minier Community High School in Minier, IL. She grew up in Illinois and moved to North Webster area in 1969 from Arizona. She retired over 30 years ago from Webster Wire in North Webster and formerly worked as a part time waitress at several local restaurants. She was a member of the V.F.W. in Syracuse and former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 253 in North Webster.

She is survived by:

Daughter – Teresa (Edwin) Reeves of Leesburg

Son – Rev. Joe (Sheila) Beezley of Warsaw

4 Grandchildren and 2 Gt. Grandchildren

Sister – Margaret Glassey of Bloomington-Normal, IL

Brother – Louie (Gerry) Hunteman of Bloomington, IL

She was preceded by her parents, 2 brothers – Melvin Hunteman & Velde Hunteman, and a gt. grandchild.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Beezley officiating. Burial will follow at the Salem Cemetery in Wilmot, IN.
