Kathy Ann Barrett

Kathy A. Barrett, 63, of North Webster, IN passed away at 1:13 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, IN. She was born January 14, 1955 to Steven & Edythe (Kinkaid) Rusnak in Cleveland, OH and moved to Anderson, IN at age 9.  She resided in Anderson until 2004 when she moved to North Webster.

Kathy graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1973 where she was a member of the majorettes which was the highlight of her high school years. She retired from Guide Lamp in Anderson after 24 years of service. Kathy was an avid lover of animals and a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend. She was able to spend her retirement years at her favorite place “THE LAKES”. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 253.

Kathy was proceeded in death by her parents - Steven & Edythe (Kinkaid) Rusnak and grand-daughter - Corianne (from Andrea & Cory). Survivors include her partner of 12 years - Jerry Dorgan, sister - Elizabeth Ormes (Duane), two daughters - Melissa Lierman (Brad) & Andrea Farmer (Cory), step-daughters - Tracy Kelly & Miranda Alexandre (Michelot), Jerry’s children - Josh, Shawn (Alexis), and Mackenzie Dorgan, Nieces - Amy Tygrett and Libby Reinert (Tom)

A Celebration of Life Memorial Dinner will take place on July 6, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Falls Park Community building located at 299 Falls Park Dr, Pendleton, IN 46064.Services were held on Thursday, May 24th, 2018 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN.
