Kay Lynn Andrews

Kay Lynn Andrews, 68, of Bluffton, IN passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at her home. She was born on April 27, 1949 in Bluffton, IN to Ervin & Joan (Zimmerman) Swartz Jr.

She grew up in Bluffton, attended Bluffton High School, and Indiana-Purdue University in Fort Wayne. She lived in North Webster from 1974 – 2004 and moved to Bonita Springs, FL before returning to Bluffton in August 2017. She was employed with Merrill Lynch in Naples, FL as a Vice President for 13 years and former manager of Key Bank in North Webster for 30 years.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Bluffton, American Legion Auxiliary Post 253 in North Webster, and Republican Women’s Club of Naples. Former member of the North Webster Chamber of Commerce, Citizen of the Year for North Webster, served as North Webster Town President, and was active in the Homer Shoop Palace of Sports Foundation.

She is survived by:

Daughter – Christine (Bill) Land of North Webster

4 Grandchildren - Joseph Feldman, Caitlin (Derek) Ellard, Whitney (Cory) Clark, and Bailey (Kyle) Jones

1 Gt. Grandson

Mother – Joan Swartz of Bluffton

2 Sisters – Julie (Richard) Hinshaw of Bluffton & Rebecca (Michael Koken) Swartz of Fort Wayne

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00   on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Jeff Lemler officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN.

Preferred memorials may be given to the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, 5910 Homestead Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46814. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
