Warsaw
Keith E. Beeching, passed away peacefully at his home in Warsaw on April 15, 2024, surrounded with love by his wife. He was 67 years old.
Keith was born in Fort Wayne on April 21, 1956, the son of Harold Beeching and Valeria (Barrow) Furman. He was a graduate of Wayne High School and spent most of his life in the Fort Wayne area, moving to Warsaw 6 years ago.
Professionally, he spent more than 40 years dedicating himself to a career as an over-the-road truck driver. Keith's commitment led him to retire in 2018 from Holland after over 25 years of loyal service. Not one to sit still, he continued his passion for driving by operating a dump truck with Hamman Trucking and Excavating in North Webster for 3.5 years post-retirement.
Throughout his life, Keith cherished the simple pleasures, such as his annual dip in Hamilton Lake Polar Plunge when he lived there and his love for racing modifieds and sprints. A huge enthusiast of the sport, he also served as a Competition Director for the Midwest Modifieds Tour (formerly USA Modified Series) under President Steve Ellis from 2002 to 2011.
In addition to his successful career and hobbies, Keith found joy in his proudest accomplishments – watching his grandson play hockey and cruising on his Harley Davidson. His dedication to family was evident in every aspect of his life.
Keith is survived by his wife, Mary Robinson of Warsaw; son, Nicholas "Nick" Beeching (and wife, Megan) of Fort Wayne; daughter, Jennifer "Jenn" Byler (and husband, Mark) of Fort Wayne; sister, Marla Sherfick (and husband, Jeff) of Idaho; two cherished grandchildren, Aiden and Ava Byler; and stepson, Dustan Serie of Lafayette; stepdaughter, Lindsey Dietrich of Estero, FL.
