Kelli Hepler, age 53, passed away surrounded by her family on February 5, 2025 at Parkview Randallia Hospital. She was born on June 2, 1971 to Ed and Judith (Odell) Zile in Wabash, IN.

Kelli's educational journey began at Warsaw Community High School, from which she graduated in 1989. She furthered her studies at Ball State University, where she was an active member of the equestrian team and Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Kelli ultimately earned her bachelor's degree from Grace College and a master's degree in education from Olivet Nazarene University.

With a heart full of love and a passion for education, Kelli dedicated her professional life to teaching at Warsaw Community Schools, spending significant time at Claypool Elementary School. Her career was marked by her commitment to her students and fellow educators, having taught several grades and significantly impacted young lives. Kelli also embraced her role as a coach, leading students in soccer, basketball, and track, always advocating for their success. She retired from teaching in 2023 due to her health complications.

Her personality radiated warmth and humor, making her not only a wonderful teacher but also a cherished friend to many. Kelli had a zest for life, enjoying the sun-kissed beaches of Florida and immersing herself in the pages of her Bible and devotional journals. Known as a fashionista, Kelli had a unique sense of style that greatly influenced those around her.

Kelli is survived by her loving husband, Brandon Hepler, and their two children, Kendall and Kale Hepler, all residing in Claypool. She is also survived by her parents, Ed and Judy Zile, sister, Shelly Seban, her nephew, Mathias Phillips, her in-laws Bill and Pam Kolter, along with other family and friends, who will miss her dearly. Preceding her in death were her grandparents.
