Kenneth G. Pischke

Kenneth G. Pischke, 73, of Syracuse, IN died at 10:34 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Courtyard Health Care in Goshen, IN. He was born January 18, 1936 in Black River Falls, WI to John A. & Mary (Peters) Pischke.
He attended public schools in Wisconsin and moved to Syracuse in the early 1950's from Wisconsin. On June 23, 1955 in Syracuse he married Donna A. Reed who preceded him on July 28, 1982. He retired in 1998 from Kinro Corporation in Syracuse and was formerly employed at Sterman Dillard Gravel & Scott Landfill near Milford as a pay loader operator for several years. He was formerly a member of the Syracuse Eagles Lodge #3760.
He is survived by:
2 Daughters - Annette Ratcliff of Goshen & Ellenora Young of Goshen;
1 Son - Danny (fiance, Teri Coverstone) Pischke of Syracuse; 7 Grand, 3 Step Grand, 10 Gt. Grand, & 2 Step Gt. Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Gt. grandson - Nicholas Ratcliff, daughter in law - Linda Pischke, lifetime companion - Eleanor Steele on December 15, 2009, 8 Brothers & 6 Sisters.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Syracuse Cemetery with Pastor Harlan Steffen of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating.
Memorial bequest may be given to the Kenneth Pischke Funeral Fund c/o Owen Family Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
