Kerry L. Koontz, a lifelong resident of North Webster, passed away at the Waters of Syracuse on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the age of 77. Born on November 29, 1945, Kerry was the son of John and Helen (Madlen) Koontz.

After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in November 1964.  He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War until he was honorably discharged.  He worked as a US Postal Carrier for the Warsaw post office until his retirement. Kerry was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing at the Maxwelton Golf Course.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 253 North Webster, holding every office at one time, including Legion Commander.

Kerry is survived by his son Jay (Shawna) Koontz; and sisters, Judy (the late Keith) Kelsey and Kay (Jim) Caskey. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services have been entrusted with Kerry’s care. Family and friends may gather on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster from 1:00pm until 2:00pm to celebrate Kerry’s life.  Military Honors will immediately follow.
