Kristine M. “Kris” Jaskutis, 51, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 1:53 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on January 2, 1962 in Hammond, IN to Robert L. & Marlene S. (Rumbut) McMahan.
She grew up in Hammond, attended Morton High School in Hammond and was employed at Millennium Industries in Ligonier for 4 years. She formerly worked at Gulf Stream RV in Nappanee for several years and Inland Steel in East Chicago. She moved to the Syracuse area in 1999 from Hammond.
She formerly attended Covenant Presbyterian Church in Hammond.
She is survived by:
3 Daughters – Charity Jaskutis of Darien, IL, Cheryl Deeds of Syracuse, & Carrie (Aaron Campbell) Jaskutis of Kimmel
3 Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her father and former husband – Vitautas “Veto” Jaskutis.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 & 5:00 – 7:00p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel in Syracuse officiating.
Memorial bequest may be given to the donor’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
