Larry L. Jackson

Larry L. Jackson, of Warsaw, passed away surrounded by family at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center on May 5, 2024, at the age of 74. Born in Rochester, IN on February 18, 1950, he was the son of Richard and Dorothy Emmons. On June 22, 1985, Larry married the love of his life, Susie Barber, and they spent 30 years together until her passing in 2015.

Larry's career as a specialty welder for Zimmer Biomet showcased his commitment to his work and skill in his craft. Additionally, he proudly served his country in the U.S Army, embodying courage and patriotism through his military service.

Outside of work, Larry found joy and solace in various hobbies and interests. He cherished the outdoors and spent countless hours hunting and fishing. His backyard was his sanctuary where he found relaxation and spent precious moments with his beloved family. Larry's devotion to his family was unparalleled; he especially adored spending time with his grandchildren and actively supported his children's and grandchildren's endeavors. Whether chaperoning band trips or serving hot dogs at little league games, Larry was always there with a smile.

Larry had a passion for travel and explored destinations like Hawaii, Maine, and Gatlinburg Tennessee with his beloved wife, creating beautiful memories along the way. He was a member of Pleasant View Bible Church and was the manager of the Warsaw VFW Post #49 for many years, demonstrating his strong sense of community involvement.

Larry is survived by his loving children: Michael Jackson, Heather Jackson, Loni (Dan) O'Hara, and Ken (Anjanette Cox) Parks; grandchildren: Alex, Trinity, Andy (Michele), Jesse (Rachel), Lindsey (Jonah), Ashley (Jonathan); great-grandchildren: Kayden, Dani, Jaxon, and Emmett. He is further survived by siblings Carolyn Christensen and Gail Emmons; brothers-in-law, William Leininger and Dail (Jan) Barber; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Larry was preceded in death by parents. 

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with Larry’s care. A life celebration will be held at a later date.
