Larry G. Boggs

Larry G. Boggs, 82, of Warsaw passed away at 1:46 p.m. on October 8th, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He was born on October 27, 1937 in the home where he has lived his entire life.  Larry was born to H. Earl and Dorothy Mae (Butt) Boggs. He graduated from Mentone High School in 1955.  In 1956, he married Betty (Griffis) Boggs of Mentone.  Together they had two children, JoEllen (Rick) Jackson of Atwood and Jeff (Julia) Boggs of Warsaw.  They have eight grandchildren Kristi (Justin) Hull, Holli (Shaun) Hollering, Nicholas (Jessica) Jackson, Jordan (Tierney) Boggs, Hannah (Jamison) Parker, Shelby (Hunter) Bradford, Darien Rodriguez and Lazero Rodriguez.  Larry and Betty also have 10 great grandchildren.

He was a farmer and worked for Creighton Bros. for 28 years.  He was an avid scrapper.  He never met a stranger and had a great love of life.  Larry left a lasting impression on every life he touched.

He was proceeded I death by his parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Marion Boggs.

Per Larry’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.  Cremation will take place.

Larry was on the Palestine Cemetery Board for many years.  Any donations can be made there in Larry’s name.
