Laudy Stevens (Bradley)

Laudy “Bea” Stevens passed away July 9, 2016 at 6:10 p.m. in Grace Village Healthcare, Winona Lake, Indiana. She was 85.
Bea was born January 14, 1931 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Harris and Rhoda (Flannery) Bradley.
She and Roger Stevens were married January 29, 1950 in Warsaw, Indiana where she lived most of her life.
Bea had been employed by several places including Kimble Glass, Kosciusko County courthouse; Owen’s Super Market and then retired as a material handler with RR Donnelley.
She enjoyed reading her Bible daily. She also enjoyed watching old movies - especially westerns and musicals. In her earlier years she would spend hours working in her yard and landscape. Family camping trips were frequent. Roger took a month of vacation one year allowing the family to take a trip to southwest and west part of the United States including Disneyland and Lake Tahoe.
She is survived by her children – daughter and son-in-law: Anna and Chris Paulus, Leesburg, Indiana and son and daughter-in-law: Roger and Kathy Stevens, Jr. of Pierceton, Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Bea’s husband, Roger, would precede her passing on February 11, 2010. Also preceding were 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
Friends and family will gather for a time of sharing Saturday, July 16th from 10 AM to 12 Noon at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.
A service celebrating Bea’s life will follow beginning at 12 noon and will be officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeiffer of Warsaw Community Church, Warsaw, Indiana. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family has asked that gifts in Bea’s memory be directed to Warsaw Community Church, Warsaw, Indiana Care Fund, c/o Warsaw Community Church, 1855 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
The staff of Titus Funeral Home considers it an honor to care for the family of Laudy “Bea” Stevens.
