Laurajene Plymale

Laurajene Plymale, 88, of North Webster, IN passed away at 8:42 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, IN. She was born on September 13, 1928 in Muncie, IN to Harry J. & Marie (Gray) Haines.
She graduated in 1947 from Muncie Central High School in Muncie and on July 4, 1947 in Muncie she married Octavian Conwell “O. C.” Plymale, who preceded her in 2015. She retired in 1981 from Indiana Bell Telephone Company in Muncie after 35 years of service as a business office supervisor. She was a North Webster summer resident since 1955, permanently moved to the area in 1981 from Muncie, and wintered in Port Charlotte, FL for many years.
She was a member of Country Bible Church in North Webster & First Baptist Church in Port Charlotte, FL. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star in Muncie, Past Honored Queen of Job’s Daughters International in Muncie & Beauceant Mason’s in Muncie.
She was survived by:
Daughter – Jill (Robert) Lee of Port Charlotte, FL
2 Granddaughters – Chelsea (Stephen) Van Wyk & Hannah Lee
2 Sisters – Pamela (John) Conrad & Nancy (Bill) Schmollinger both of Leesburg, FL
She was preceded by her parents, husband, and brother- Dickie Haines.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN with Pastor Myron Drent of the Country Bible Church officiating.
Memorial bequest may be given to the Country Bible Church, 8766 E. 500N, North Webster, IN 46555. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
