Lawrence W. "Doc" Frazier

Lawrence W. "Doc" Frazier, 85, of Millersburg, IN passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 12, 1934 in Nappanee, IN to Cleo & Estella (Pierce) Frazier.

He attended Syracuse public schools and lived most of his life in the Millersburg area. He was married on April 10, 1954 to Mary Elaine Sawyer who preceded him on March 7, 2019. He retired in 1999 from Goshen Rubber Company after 45 years.

He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, bowling, golfing, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by:

4 Daughters – Darlene (Steve) Treat of Goshen, Karen (Ron) Butler, Debra (Greg) Long, and Joyce Frazier all of Millersburg

4 grandchildren – Rhonda (Jeff) Wenger, Steven Treat, Amy Dickeson, and Robert Long

9 Gt. Grandchildren & 6 Gt. Gt. Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son – Lawrence Frazier, grandson – Todd Scelzo, gt. grandson – Brenden Dickeson, 2 sisters – Ruth Frazier & Delores Hayes, and 3 brothers – Cecil, Willard, and Lewis Frazier.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor David Hathaway officiating. Burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.
