Leo H. Richey, 81, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at 12:30 PM in his Leesburg, Indiana home.
The son of Harry and Edna (Richardson) Richey, Leo was born October 2, 1933 in Cannelton, Indiana. He was a 1951 graduate of Tell City High School.
He served during World War ll with the United States Army.
Leo took Lois M. Mack to be his wife September 15, 1955 in Angola, Indiana.
He lived most of his life in Leesburg, Indiana and was a manager for Pepsi-Cola’s Warsaw plant for 30 years retiring in 1988.
Leo was a member of VFW Men’s Auxiliary, American Legion Post #253 (North Webster), Warsaw Bowling Association and the VFW Shuffle Board Team.
Survivors include 2 sons: Larry (and Sue) Richey, Leesburg and Matt Richey of Warsaw; 2 daughters: Faith (and Matt) Kirkendall and Juanita (and Gale) Danner – all of Warsaw; 9 grandchildren: Eric, Roger, Shanna, Chantelle, Nellie, Alexis, Amber, Samantha and Emma; 21 great grandchildren: 3 great, great grandchildren: and a sister: Dorothy Thomas of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Those preceding Leo in death are his wife: Lois M. Richey (May 11, 2015); 2 brothers: George Richey and Bob Richey; and 2 sisters: Mary Marchand and Dualee Jarboe.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing from 10 - 11 AM on Monday, June 8th in TITUS FUNERAL HOME, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
A memorial service will follow beginning at 11 AM. Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain, will officiate. Military Honors will be conducted by Warsaw’s American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126. Burial will take place at a later date.
