Biography
Linda Lou Yeiter, 75, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, Indiana.
The daughter of Dwayne and Maxine (Wideman) Horn, Linda was born November 13, 1939 in Warsaw, Indiana. On July 21, 1956, she and Larry Yeiter were married in Atwood, Indiana. He survives.
Linda, a farmer's wife and homemaker, she was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church (Atwood), former member of Lamda Chi Omega and a member of a bowling league. She loved to travel and enjoyed gardening and tending her flower beds. She also enjoyed cooking and sewing.
In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Jerry and Diane Yeiter, Warsaw; 2 daughters and a son-in-law: Carmen Yeiter of Warsaw and Cindy and Dan Koldyke, Silver Lake, Indiana; 5 grandchildren: Jenna (Scott) Burton, Claypool; Chris Koldyke, Warsaw; Ashley (Shade) Keeney, Claypool; Matt Koldyke of Burket, Indiana; and Russ Yeiter, Warsaw; and 4.7 great grandchildren. Three sisters also survive: Sharon Miller, Judy Robinson and Luann Horn – all of Warsaw.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Larry G. Horn (November 28, 2001) and Billy D. Horn (August 24, 2014).
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing Tuesday, August 25th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Titus Funeral Home and again for an hour before the service which will take place Wednesday, August 26th at 10:30 a.m. at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 306 E. Main Street, Atwood, Indiana 46502. Pastor Jim Larson of Otterbein United Methodist Church and Pastor Butch Troke of Beaver Dam United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will take place in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green.
