Linda C. Keirn

Linda C. Keirn, 80, of Mentone, IN passed away at 3:50 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021 at her home. She was born on June 19, 1941 in Carrollton, KY to John Ashby & Mary Louise (Ashby) Pyles.

She graduated from high school in Kentucky and attended East Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. She was married on August 31, 1984 in Erlanger, KY to James E. “Jim” Keirn who preceded her on November 15, 2020. She formerly worked at Chore Time / Brock in Milford & Martin’s Supermarket Deli in Warsaw. She grew up in Kentucky and moved to the Rochester / Mentone area in the 1970’s.

She attended Harrison Center Church in Etna Green.

She is survived by:

Daughter – Jennifer Robinson of Nicholas, KY

Son – Jamie (Amy) Wallace of Mentone

5 Grandchildren – Christina Robinson of Corbin, KY, Carolann Wallace of Mentone, Tori (Dennis) Samardzic of Fort Wayne, Norman Wallace of Clifton, NJ, Jamie Wallace of Mentone, and Nash Keirn of Mentone

Sister – Sue (Gayle) Swafford of Port St. Lucy, FL

3 Brothers – Terry (Karen) Pyles of Madison, IN, Ira Pyles of Erlanger, KY, and Mike (Carol) Pyles of Carrolton, KY

2 Sisters in Law – Becky and Kathy Pyles both of Carrolton, KY

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant grandchild, 2 brothers – John and David Pyles, and brother in law – Jack Keirn.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 @ Harrison Center Church, 965 S. 800W, Etna Green, IN. Memorial services for both Linda & James Keirn will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday in the church with Pastor Mark Burritt officiating. Burial will take place in the Harrison Center Cemetery. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.
