Linda Sue Golden, 55, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City. She was born on February 25, 1960 in Gary, IN to Chester Lonzo & Dolores June (Sullivan) Golden.
She attended Calumet High School in Calumet, IL and formerly lived in Syracuse, IN; Jones, MI; and Leesburg, IN before moving to Columbia City 1 year ago. She formerly worked at Sycamore Products in Syracuse, Syracuse Rubber Company, & Scope Technologies in Elkhart, IN for several years.
She is survived by:
2 Daughters – Stephanie (David Keiling Jr.) Kaufman of Elkhart, IN & Sarah Kaufman of Columbia City, IN
Son – Joshua (Jamie) Kaufman of Pierceton
8 Grandchildren – Angelina, Kylee, Brendan, Cayden, Tony, Laini, Karrissa, & Ezra
Companion – Earl Smith of Columbia City
4 Sisters – Judy (Randy) Hill of Edwardsville, IL, Cindy (Terry) Fogleman of Merrillville, IN, Angela (Terri) Coffey of Griffith, & Sabrina Erbst of Elkhart
Brother – John Coffey of Bourbon
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister – Diane Marshall, & brother – Ronald Golden.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Stan Owen of the Syracuse Church of God officiating. Cremation will then take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN.
