Lloyd Earl Kammerdiener

Lloyd Earl Kammerdiener, 84, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 7:29 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Syracuse, IN. He was born on October 3, 1933 in Goshen, IN to Volney G. & Hazel M. (Lewallen) Kammerdiener.

He moved to Syracuse in 1948 from Goshen, IN and graduated in 1952 from New Paris High School. On August 3, 1963 in Erie, IN he married Lucille “Lucy” (Babcock) Miller who survives. He retired on August 12, 2005 from Smoker Craft in New Paris. Formerly employed at Weatherhead in Syracuse, Switches in Goshen, and Kreuter Manufacturing in New Paris.

He was a member of the Syracuse Church of God where he held many various offices.

He is survived by:

2 Daughters - Cathy Marie (Michael) Coy of Syracuse & Amy Sue (Jon) Lippe of Claypool

6 Grandchildren - Alissa Hewitt, Cayla Coy, Tiffany (Travis) Goff, Liza Lippe, Madelyn Lippe, and Bryce Lippe, 4 Step Grandchildren, 4 Step Great Grandchildren, and 1 Step Gt. Gt. Granddaughter

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter – Tonda Kay (Miller) Hewitt, and sister & brother in law - Delores & John Hartzler.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 in the funeral home with Pastors Stan Owen & Derek Coy officiating. Burial will follow in Syracuse Cemetery.
