Lois E. Sikora, 68, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 4:00 a.m. in her Pierceton, Indiana home. She was born in Fort Wayne on December 20, 1948 to Wallace Eugene and June Arlene (Logan) Dill.
On March 8, 1969, she was married to Bernard Sikora in Ft. Wayne. They would share 45 years together until his passing on March 5, 2015.
Lois spent most of her lifetime living in the Beaver Dam area. She worked for Sonoco Products in Akron for 30 years before retiring in 2010.
She loved to spend time gardening, especially growing vegetables and flowers. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She loved her dogs and loved spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include 2 sons: John (Elizabeth) Sikora of Pierceton; and Michael (Michele) Sikora of Warsaw; and 4 grandchildren: Hannah Sikora, Sean Sikora, Alicia Sikora, and Logan Sikora.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Sikora (March 5, 2015).
A Memorial Service celebrating Lois’s life will take place on Saturday, August 26th at 10 a.m. at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Reverend David Hummel will officiate.
The family has asked that gifts in Lois’s memory be directed to the Animal Welfare League, P.O. Box 1906, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1906.
