Loretta Miner, age 77, formerly of Warsaw and of Kokomo peacefully passed away on June 28 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born to Elijah and Flossie Marshall on June 6, 1947 in Warsaw, IN. She married Tim Miner on October 9, 2010. She worked at Hymball in the sewing department and as a bookkeeper.
Outside of work, Loretta enjoyed a variety of interests that brought joy to those around her. had a passion for singing karaoke, trying her luck at the casino, and the art of crochet. Her shopping adventures at Goodwill were always filled with excitement and fond memories. She was also a woman of faith and loved listening to gospel music.
One of Loretta's talents that will be deeply missed is her cooking skills. She was known by her family to make delicious enchiladas and biscuits and gravy.
Loretta is survived by her children Judy (Ralph) Carmona of Texas, Lawney (Lisa) Francis of Kokomo, William Marshall (Toni Fore) of Warsaw and Brandi (Gary) Opperman of Texas, step-children; Gavin Miner (Shay Wenzel) and Darren Miner (Tammy Keirn). She is also survived by grandchildren; Deborah Saavedra (Aldo Saavedra), Alex Carmona (Brandy Carmona), Lawney Francis (Precious Francis), Jacob Francis (Deanna Francis), Kayle Farmer, Caleb Covarrubias (Jordyn Covarrubias),Tessa Opperman, Kaitlyn Carmona; step-grandchildren, Anthony Miner, Joseph Miner, Felda Miner, Ashlyn Miner. Along with 17 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Timothy Miner who passed in 2023, her parents, Elijah & Flossie Marshall, and siblings; Parthena Justice, Carol Prater and Danny Marshall.
The visitation and funeral service to honor Loretta's life will take place on July 3, 2024, at Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services 2000 Sheridan Street in Warsaw, Indiana. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM to Noon. A Life Celebration Funeral will begin at Noon. Burial will immediately follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
