Lorraine A. Rainford

Lorraine A. Rainford, 56, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 10:56 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at her home. She was born on October 21, 1962 in Gary, IN to William Dean & Evelyn Ann (Rolfe) Bennett Sr.

She graduated in 1980 from Andrean High School in Merrillville, IN and was married on September 28, 1985 in Portage, IN to John W. Rainford who survives. She moved to the Warsaw / North Webster area 25 years ago from South Haven, IN, was a homemaker, and worked as co-manager for Pick A Spot Campground near Barbee for the past 25+ years.

She formerly attended the Nativity of Our Savior Church in Portage.

She is survived by:

Husband – John Rainford of Warsaw

2 Sons – John (Brittany Mock) Rainford of Warsaw & Mark (Samantha) Rainford of Huntington

3 Grandchildren

Brother – William (Melissa) Bennett Jr of Syracuse

Niece & Nephew – Ann & Willy Bennett

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 12, 2019 in the funeral home. Graveside services will take place at 1:00 p.m. (C.S.T) on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in the Calvary Cemetery, 2701 Willowdale Rd., Portage, IN.
