Lorree A. Corbat

Lorree A. Corbat, 65, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at her home. She was born on July 22, 1954 in Fort Wayne, IN to Maurice Reed & Donna Lorree (Rockwell) Snyder.

She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and graduated in 1973 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. She was married on June 4, 1998 in Syracuse, IN to Thomas M. “Tom” Corbat who preceded her on November 26, 2013. She formerly worked at K.M.C. Controls in New Paris for 23 years and bartended for the American Legion & Eagles Lodge both in Syracuse.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 223 Auxiliary in Syracuse, and Eagles Lodge in Syracuse.

She is survived by:

2 Sons – Jason (Kyra) Mench of Marion and Jerimiah Mench of Syracuse

4 Step Daughters – Rebecca Pfieffer of Fort Wayne, Lisa Nichols of Orange Park, FL., Nicole (Eric) Shaekle of Columbia City, and Melissa (Chris) Fraize of Anchorage, AK

Twin Sister – Laura Keller of Fort Wayne

2 Brothers - David (Pauline) Snyder of LaPorte & Daniel (Beth) Snyder of Indianapolis

Several Grand & Gt. Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister - Neva O’Connor, and 2 brothers – Paul & James Snyder.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Mark Helm of the Sunnycrest United Methodist Church in Marion. Burial will take place in Arcola.
