Louise Mattie Hoisington

Louise Mattie Hoisington, 98, formally of Phoenix, Arizona, sadly passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at The Waters of Syracuse in Indiana surrounded by her granddaughters and her great grandchildren.

She was born on May 19, 1926, to Vera Ann Herrin and William Burnett Wood in Port Arthur, Texas. Louise had an extensive career in Executive Administration. Most of her life was spent between Arizona, Indiana, and Michigan to be near to her family. She loved gardening and devoted her time to her children and grandchildren. Family was of the utmost importance to her.

 Louise is survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Duane Hoisington), sister (Lora Mae Nicholas), brothers (Robert Wood and Melvin Wood) and both of her dear sons: Craig Alexander and David Alexander.

 Louise will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
