Biography Loy H. Stover, 76, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 8:43 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana.
Loy was born in Howard County to Esmond and Bessie (Lovel) Stover on June 15, 1939. He was a 1958 graduate of Kokomo (Indiana) High School. He served in the United States Army.
He took Maxine Mills as his wife on March 4, 1961 in Kokomo, Indiana.
He was employed for 40 years by Fleet, Inc. and retired in 2005 as an environmental and safety director.
A Warsaw, Indiana resident, Loy was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Church where he was an elder.
Survivors include Maxine, his wife of over 50 years; 2 daughters: Laura Hunter and Leslie Oberg – both of Warsaw; son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Jennifer Stover of North Manchester, Indiana; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and his only sister and brother-in-law: Roselee and Stanley White, Mooresville, Indiana.
Loy was preceded in death by 3 brothers.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 11th from 1-2 PM in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Church, 3191 W. 200S, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. The funeral service will take place following visitation at 2 PM in the church with Elder Ray Salazar officiating.
