Lucinda Bowling

Lucinda Jane Bowling, age 84, of North Webster, passed away on January 28, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who went to be with her Heavenly Father with her family by her side.

She was born on October 4, 1940 to Dewey and Mary Brown in Scottsville, Kentucky. She was one of eight children. 

Lucinda graduated from Leesburg High School. She began her adult life working at Jomac Industries. She then met the love of her life Denny Bowling. They would end up marrying October 14, 1966. 

Lucinda loved spending time with her husband of 58 years never leaving his side. Together they worked side by side starting a cleaning service. She enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques, listening to gospel and bluegrass music. She had many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She loved to spoil every kid that came into their home. She could percolate the best pot of coffee. She also made her famous biscuits from scratch. 

She is survived by her husband Denney Bowling of North Webster along with their children Rick (Stephanie) Bowling and Barb (Dave) Trott. Along with her grandchildren Courtney Bowling, Holly Bowling, Nathanial Trott, and Samantha Trott; great-grandchildren; Benjamin Whitaker, Kaitlyn and Annabella Trott. In addition she is survived by her siblings, Don (Grace) Brown and Betty Gregory.

She is greeted at the Heavens Gates by her mother and father, a niece Rose Marie Newcomer. Along with her siblings Francis, Susie, Jean, Joyce, and JC. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8056 East 500 North, North Webster, IN 46555. A Life Celebration visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. At Noon, her funeral will start with Pastor Chris Frank officiating. Burial will follow at Mock Addition North Webster Cemetery.
