Lula M. Scholle, 89, of North Webster, IN passed away at 4:05 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City, IN. She was born on May 13, 1925 in Lafayette, IN to Manfred L. & Minnie (Reynolds) Gipson.

She graduated from Brookston High School in Brookston, IN and was married on June 23, 1944 to Wilbur D. “Bill” Scholle who preceded her in death on May 7, 2006. She was a homemaker and former office manager & financial secretary at a Mental Health Center in Fort Wayne, IN. She lived in Indiana until she and her husband moved to Bradenton / Sarasota Florida in 1982 from Warsaw. She then returned to North Webster area in 2002.

She was a member of the First Covenant Church in Bradenton, FL & attended North Webster United Methodist Church.

She is survived by:
Daughter – Kama (Tim) Strombeck of North Webster
Step Granddaughter – Nikki (Randy) Trusty of Waverly, OH
2 Step Gt. Grandchildren
8 Nieces & Nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step grandson – Kyle Smith, & brother – Robert Gipson.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. A celebration of life fellowship time will follow on Saturday, October 25th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 253, 756 S. St. Rd. 13, North Webster, IN.

Memorial bequest may be given to Kosciusko County Home Care & Hospice, P.O. Box 1196, Warsaw, IN 46580 or Animal Welfare League, 3489 E 100 S, Pierceton, IN 46562. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
