Luther Manuel, 77, of Tippecanoe, IN passed away at 4:10 a.m. at Millers Merry Manor in Columbia City. He was born on July 30, 1939 in Salyersville, KY to Ford & Dorothy (England) Manuel.

He moved to Kosciusko County from Kentucky in the 1940’s, graduated in 1957 from Pierceton High School, and was a United States Air Force veteran. He was married on December 29, 1998 in Frankfort, KY to Donna Kaye (Jackson) Jackson who survives. He was formerly employed for the Indiana Highway Department.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #49 in Warsaw.

He is survived by:

Wife – Donna Manuel of Tippecanoe

2 Daughters – Angel Spencerman of Bourbon & Lorrie Cantrell of Warsaw

3 Sons – Brian Lee Jackson of Warsaw, James Loren (Lindsay) Jackson of Silver Lake, and Corrie (Young) Meade of High Point, NC

Several Grandchildren

2 Sisters – Virginia (Eugene) Gossman of Orlando, FL & Betty (Carl) Nettrouer of South Whitley

Brother – Claude (Linda) Manuel of FL

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No public services will be held. Private family burial will take place at South Whitley Cemetery at a later date. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.

Preferred memorials may be given to Parkview Whitley Hospice, 2806 Theater Ave. # A, Huntington, IN 46750.
