Marcia L. Rosenberry, 68, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at her home. She was born on September 1, 1942 in Mishawaka, IN to Leo A. and Eldora (Bryant) Chalk.
She was married on Oct. 31, 1959 in Syracuse to Larry D. Rosenberry who survives and she returned to high school and graduated in 1986 from Wawasee. She was a homemaker who lived most of her life in Kosciusko County. She formerly worked at Penguin Point in Warsaw during the late 1970’s and Lakeland Loving Care Nursing Home in Milford during the 1980s. She attended the Syracuse Church of God.
She is survived by:
Husband – Larry Rosenberry of Syracuse
Daughter – Dorene Montel of Leesburg
2 Sons – David (wife, Kara) Rosenberry of Syracuse & Drew (wife, Christina) Rosenberry of Syracuse
6 Grand & 1 Gt. Granddaughter
Sister – Shirley Johnson of Syracuse
Brother – Harley (wife, Gail) Chalk of Syracuse
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 5: 00 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home with Pastor Vince Wilczinski of the church officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Milford.
