Diane Lyles of Warsaw passed away on June 23, 2019 at 6:40 a.m. in her residence. Having lived most of her life outside of Shreveport, Louisiana, Diane was 69 years old.
Born Margaret Diane Lyles, Diane was the daughter of Charles and Florence (Bassinger) Morgan. She graduated from Cotton Valley High School (LA) with the class of 1967. She was funny, sassy and stubborn too. She was very crafty and enjoyed sewing. She also enjoyed flea markets, working the polls each year and had strong faith Jesus. She was a lover of old hymns and gospel music; her favorite being Old Rugged Cross.
In her spare time, Diane enjoyed flower gardening. She also enjoyed gaming on her tablet and coloring. She was known for her positive attitude; Diane was rarely negative nor was she one to complain.
Those who knew her best and survive with memories to cherish include son, Travis Page, Jr. (wife, Brandi) of Warsaw; four grandchildren: Justin Page, Bree Page, Colton Elkins and Zac Elkins; two great-grandchildren, Tucker Roegner and Knox Page; brother, Frank Morgan; two sisters, Charlene May and Ludy Williams; and her life-long friends, Mary Coble and James Williams. Also surviving is her pet dog, Itzee who has been her companion for nearly 15 years. Her parents, four brothers, and one sister preceded in passing.
