Margarita Ballin (Garza)

July 20, 1950 — January 25, 2020

Margarita (Garza) Ballin, age 69 and a longtime resident of Warsaw, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, January 25th at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.

Born in Tuff, Texas on July 20, 1950, Margarita was the daughter of Felipe Garza and Maria (Medelez) Garza. She spent several years in Texas before moving to Warsaw. Margarita was a giving, caring person and a devoted mother and grandmother. She was often caring for and watching the grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed time with family. She especially enjoyed card games and could be very competitive. She also liked trying her luck at Casinos and was sure to keep up on her favorite Novellas.

Margarita is survived by her husband, Clemente Ballin of Warsaw; daughter, Juanita Silvestre (husband, Antonio) of Warsaw; son, Clemente “Rucko” Ballin of Warsaw; two grandchildren: Cynthia Martinez of Leesburg and Maria Velazquez of Claypool; six great-grandchildren; brother, Pedro Garza (wife, Martha) of Warsaw and sister, Maria Antonia Garza Hernandez (husband, Miguel) of Austin, TX. She was preceded in passing by three sisters: Maria Irma, Gumecinda and Viola and by her parents.
