Marilyn M. Bartman

Marilyn M. Bartman, 63, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 1:56 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on May 3, 1951 in Goshen, IN to Ralph “Frank” & Sue A. (Whetten) Hoover.

She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and attended Syracuse High School. She was married on January 10, 1970 in Nappanee, IN to Joe Bill Bartman who preceded her on February 3, 2013. She retired from Dana Corporation in Syracuse after several years of service.

She is survived by:
3 Daughters – Brandy Jo Ward of Syracuse; Bambi Jo Stuckman of Syracuse & Brendy Jo (Robert) Weldy of Wawaka
Son – Robert Vern “Bobby” Bartman of Warsaw
17 Grand & 1 Gt. Grandson
3 Sisters – Faye (Ronald) Church of New Paris; Jacqueline Blosser of Bronson, FL; & Janice Wood of Syracuse
Brother - William “Bill” (Norma) Hoover of Elkhart

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Pat Park of the Wawasee Heights Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the South Union Cemetery in Nappanee.
