Marilyn S. Workman, 70, of North Webster, IN passed away at 4:05 a.m. on Monday, May 27, 2013 at her home.  She was born on September 24, 1942 in Petersburg, IN to Stanley & Mary Jane (Curry) Howard Sr.

She grew up in Rushville, IN & graduated in 1960 from Rushville High School. She was married on September 19, 1964 in Connersville, IN to William L. “Bill” Workman who survives and moved to the North Webster area in April 1984 from Rushville. She was formerly employed at Hughes & Young Lawyers in Rushville, Maple Leaf Farms in Cromwell, & Ace Hardware in Syracuse where she worked in the Lawn & Garden area.

She formerly attended the Church of God in North Webster, was a master gardener and an artist that enjoyed painting, drawing and many others forms of art.

She is survived by:
Husband – Bill Workman of North Webster
2 Daughters – Jenny (Jeff) Fearnow of Huntington & Beth Workman of North Webster
Son - Scott (wife, Renee) Workman of Winona Lake, IN
4 Grandchildren
Mother – Mary Jane Howard of Connersville
Sister – Sandra Cooper of Connersville
2 Brothers – Stanley (wife, Linda) Howard Jr. of Connersville & Don (wife, Candice) Howard of Lawton, OK

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Rev. Bill Mueller of the Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne officiating.

Memorial bequest may be given to Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice, P.O. Box 1196, Warsaw, IN 46581.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
