Marion Rauschenbach

Marion R. Rauschenbach 92, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, formerly of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, went to her heavenly home, on March 12, 2012.  Marion was born May 5, 1919 in Laporte, Indiana to Oscar and Augusta Knoll. She married Frank J. Rauschenbach on July 2, 1938 in Laporte, Indiana.  He passed away in 1985.

Surviving are a daughter Suzanne (Neal) Koppert of Union, Michigan, a son Frank (Barb) Rauschenbach of Jeffersonville, Indiana. Eight grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sister Roberta Marsh, two brothers Robert and James Knoll.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Sandra (Steve) Mafera and 3 brothers, Don, Dick and Harold Knoll.  Marion was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Her favorite times were having her family in her home. She was an excellent cook and loving, gracious woman.  She spent her career life as an accountant.  She was a 53 year member of Eastern star, and active in many organizations. She was a  member of Salem United Church of Christ.

Marion will be greatly missed by her loving family.  Her final quote: " Listen, Before you go, we love you,we just wanted you to know".

There will be no visitation and a private service for the family will be held at Covington Memorial Gardens in Ft. Wayne.  Memorials to Salem Church of Christ.
