Marjorie had a lifelong struggle with alcohol
Marjorie Lynn Greene was born to Billie and Jennie (Phillips) Hollis on December 8, 1961. She graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1980. After high school, she went on to attend school for cosmetology.
In her heart of hearts, she had a zest for taking care of people. She had a passion for being in the kitchen and cooking for others. She attended many church services, bible studies, and prayer groups. In her spare time she enjoyed watching the TV program The Golden Girls. Her life was not an easy one but she was not without love. She will be missed by those closest to her.
Marjorie is survived by longtime companion John Durwood Meyers of Warsaw, IN, three sons,
She is preceded in death by father Billie Hollis, mother, Jennie Hollis, brother, Larry Hollis, aunts, Doris Phillips, Marie Phillips, and Thelma Phillips, and uncle Charles Phillips.
A Life Celebration for Marjorie with her son Ryan officiating, will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the New Creation Fellowship Church, 315 Cedar Street, Warsaw.
