Born on May 17, 1940 to Kenneth and Lona (Gaff) Leedy in Larwill, IN. Marlene was a dedicated individual who enjoyed a fulfilling life, both professionally and personally. She married her husband Daryle Hill on March 21, 1970. She was a lifetime area resident.

She was a proud graduate of Larwill High School, class of 1958, and later furthered her education by earning an associate degree from Purdue University. She also enjoyed the thrill of gambling, particularly enjoying slot machines, and loved sudoku puzzles. Her evenings were often spent watching Hallmark movies, a testament to her appreciation for heartfelt stories.

She leaves behind her step-son Steve Hill of Wheatfield, IN, and seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Marlene is preceded in death by her beloved husband Daryle Hill, her step-daughter Penny Groves, her parents Kenneth and Lona Leedy, her sister Joy Butler, and her brothers Raymond "Gene" Leedy and Tony Leedy.
