Martha Islas Acosta

Martha P. Islas Acosta, of Warsaw, passed away quietly at Kosciusko Community Hospital on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the age of 62.

Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on August 11, 1960, she was the daughter of Bernardino Islas and the late Cruz Celia Acosta. She married Jesus Manuel Pacheco on December 18, 1982. The two have shared 39 years together and spent their lives raising their three children.

Martha was truly a humble and giving person, giving gifts to those she cared about. She loved spending time with her family, especially when it came to spending time with her grandchildren. Her family loved her free spirit and how she was fun to be around. Martha loved to go to church and had a close relationship with God. In her free time, she also enjoyed listening to music, cooking, and reading.

Along with her husband, Jesus, she will be deeply missed by her children, Jesus Manuel Pacheco, Ana Pacheco, and Hilda Pacheco; and grandchildren, Martin McAdams, Elijah Pacheco, Honor Pacheco, Christian Cuellar, Sebastian Becerra, and Isabel Becerra. She is further survived by numerous siblings, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in passing by her mother, Celia and brother, Francisco Ramon Islas.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with Martha’s care. Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 225 Gilliam Dr, Warsaw, IN 46580, from 09:00am until 12:00pm. The Mass will begin at 12:00 noon. She will be laid to rest immediately following Mass at Oakwood Cemetery.

Martha P. Islas Acosta, de Warsaw, falleció tranquilamente en el Kosciusko Community Hospital el sábado 29 de octubre de 2022, a la edad de 62 años.

Nacida en Chihuahua, México, el 11 de agosto de 1960, era hija de Bernardino Islas y Cruz Celia Acosta. Se casó con Jesús Manuel Pacheco el 18 de diciembre de 1982. Los dos han compartido 39 años juntos y pasaron sus vidas criando a sus tres hijos.

Martha era una persona verdaderamente humilde y dadivosa, regalando a los que le importaban. Ella amaba pasar tiempo con su familia, especialmente cuando se trataba de pasar tiempo con sus nietos. Su familia amaba su espíritu libre y lo divertido que era estar con ella. A Martha le encantaba ir a la iglesia y tenía una estrecha relación con Dios. En su tiempo libre, también le gustaba escuchar música, cocinar y leer.

Junto a su esposo, Jesús, la extrañarán profundamente sus hijos, Jesús Manuel Pacheco, Ana Pacheco y Hilda Pacheco; y sus nietos, Martín McAdams, Elijah Pacheco, Honor Pacheco, Christian Cuéllar, Sebastián Becerra e Isabel Becerra. También le sobreviven numerosos hermanos, familiares y amigos. La precedieron su madre, Celia, y su hermano, Francisco Ramon Islas.

La funeraria Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services está a cargo del cuidado de Martha. Los amigos pueden unirse a la familia para la visita el viernes, 4 de noviembre de 2022, en Our Lady of Guadalupe, 225 Gilliam Dr, Warsaw, IN 46580, desde las 09:00 am hasta las 12:00 pm. La misa comenzará a las 12:00 del mediodía. Ella será puesta a descansar inmediatamente después de la misa en el cementerio de Oakwood.
