Marvin Lee Davis, a longtime Warsaw resident, passed away quietly on Sunday, January 12, 2020 in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center. Originally of Akron, Indiana he was 90 years old.
Marvin was an artist by trade and had worked in ad design for The Yellow Pages for many years. He was a graduate of Akron High School and Indiana University, Bloomington. He enjoyed collecting antiques and finding treasures at auctions around the area. He liked sports of all kinds and especially enjoyed basketball and football.
In the early 1960s, Marvin began dating Lenora Taylor. The two were wed and briefly made their home in Akron before settling in Warsaw. Lenora (Taylor) Davis survives at home in Warsaw. Also surviving are two sons, Mark Davis of Warsaw and Anthony Davis of Naples Florida; granddaughter, Bryanna of Naples and two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Eli. Marvin was preceded in death by five siblings – two sisters, one of whom was his twin and three brothers, one of whom passed as a baby.
