May 12, 1934 — June 29, 2017

Mary Jane Grubbs, known to most as “Jane,” passed away on Thursday, June 29th at 3:52 a.m. in her Warsaw, Indiana home. She was 83 years old.
Jane was born on May 12, 1934 in Plymouth, Indiana. She was the daughter of Alva Leo and Dorothy Arvilla (Montague) Sisk. She was a 1952 graduate of Warsaw High School.

She attended each of her kids’ school and sporting events, participated and excelled in the local women’s bowling leagues, and loved playing card games – because she loved people and her family, in particular. In addition to spending time knitting and cooking, she enjoyed watching Chicago Cubs Baseball.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Carmen (David) Curtis of Warsaw; three sons: Lance (Michele) Grubbs, Kim (Monica) Grubbs, and Brent Grubbs, all of Warsaw; grandchildren: Jason (Ceci) Curtis, Dawn (Doug) Armey, Davina Titus, Justin (Laura) Curtis, Brandon (Chasidy) Grubbs, Haley Grubbs, Ben (Kara) Grubbs, Andy (Cassie) Grubbs, Nathen Grubbs, & Matthew Grubbs; great grandchildren: Keagan Curtis, Caleb Curtis, Ross Armey, Raina Armey, Garrett Titus, Abbigail Curtis, Tucker Curtis, Kyle Grubbs, Abby Colson, Audrey Colson, Emily Grubbs, Dylan Grubbs, Avery Grubbs, Cohen Grubbs, Andersen Grubbs, Brent Grubbs, Bryan Grubbs, Cadence Grubbs, & Greyson Grubbs; great, great grandchild, Zoie Titus; two sisters: Betty Eckert of Beaver Dam and Barbara Brown-Ginter of Hobart, Indiana; in-laws: Mary Grubbs, Bonnie Cleveland, & Norman (Brenda) Grubbs.
In addition to her husband, Donald, who preceded her in death on August 12, 2003, she was preceded by her father, Alva Sisk, 1959, mother, Dorothy Sisk Black, October 10, 2007, two stillborn brothers; and granddaughter-in-law, Michelle Grubbs.
