Mary B. Kammerdiner, 82, of Waterloo, IA passed away at 12:50 a.m. on Tuesday, September 07, 2010 at Goshen General Hospital following a sudden illness while on vacation visiting family in Syracuse. She was born on July 5, 1928 in Waterloo, IA to Harold & Geneva (Moothart) Haynes.
She was a lifetime Waterloo, IA area resident and graduated from West Waterloo High School. She was married on June 17, 1946 in Waterloo, IA to Duane E. Kammerdiner who preceded her in 2007. She was a homemaker and attended the First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls, IA.
She is survived by:
2 Daughters – Mrs. Terry (Betty) Loftus of Elk Run Heights, IA & Diane Sullivan of Parkersburg, IA
2 Sons – Richard (wife, Kathy) Kammerdiner of Bradenton, FL & Jerry Kammerdiner of San Diego, CA
19 Grand & 9 Gt. Granchildren
Sister – Mrs. Bud (Ruth) Woodard of Waterloo, IA
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 sister & 2 brothers.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Syracuse Church of God, 104 E. Washington St., Syracuse, IN with Pastor Vince Wilczynski of the church officiating.
