Mary Ridenour

Mary Louise Ridenour, 99, of Warsaw, IN (formerly of Wabash, IN) passed away at 6:25 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Gardens of Lake City in Warsaw.  She was born on December 31, 1912 in Marion, IN to Herbert & Georgiana (Kerlin) Knox.

She graduated in 1930 from Marion High School and on January 24, 1932 in Wabash she married Donald “Don” Ridenour who preceded her in 1983. She was a homemaker, farmer’s wife and formerly worked as a secretary at Southwood High School. She lived most of her life in Wabash until 5 years ago when she moved to the Warsaw area. She was a member of Wabash Friends Church.

She is survived by:
3 Grandchildren – Steve (wife, Jeannie) Ross of Leesburg, IN; Mrs. Don (DeAnn) Osborne of Leesburg; and Mrs. Jeff (Susan) Lewis of Phoenix
9 Gt. Grand & 10 Gt. Gt. Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, step mother – Grace Hopkins, husband, 2 daughters – Shirley Ross & Eleanor Ridenour, & sister – Thelma.

Private family graveside services will be at the Friends Cemetery in Wabash, IN with Rev. Dave Phillips officiating.

Memorial bequest may be given to Heartland Hospice, 1315 Directors Row, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
