Mary B. Kauke

Mary B. Kauke, 93, of Milford, IN (formerly of North Webster, IN) passed away at 10:35 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Lakeland Healthcare and Rehab in Milford. She was born on July 4, 1921 in Indianapolis, IN to George & Henrietta (Husser) Selig.
She attended public schools in Chicago, IL and was married on January 2, 1943 in Vancouver, WA William George Kauke who preceded her on April 24, 1947. She retired as a Retail / Sales Clerk with the Greyhound Post House in Chicago, IL after 17 years of service. She moved to North Webster in 2006 from Chicago.
She is survived by:
Daughter – Billie (Tom) Lavin of North Webster
2 Grand & 2 Gt. Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son – William G. Kauke II, and sister – Ruth Hostler.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster. Memorial services will follow at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Myron Drent of the Country Bible Church in North Webster officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County in Warsaw.
Memorial bequest may be given to the Wawasee Camp of Gideon’s International, P.O. Box 101, Syracuse, IN 46567. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
