Mary E. Frazier

Mary Elaine Frazier, 90, of Millersburg, IN passed away at 5:38 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her residence. She was born on March 1, 1929 in Syracuse, IN to Lester O. & Clara (Burson) Sawyer.

She was a lifetime Millersburg resident and attended school in Syracuse, IN.  She was married on April 10, 1954 to Lawrence W. “Doc” Frazier who survives. She was a homemaker for most of her life.

She is survived by:

Husband – Lawrence “Doc” Frazier of Millersburg

4 Daughters – Darlene (Steve) Treat of Goshen, Karen (Ron) Butler, Debra (Greg) Long, & Joyce Frazier all of Millersburg

5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, & 6 great-great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, son – Lawrence Frazier, 5 sisters – Evelyn Wolfinger, Ruth Sindel, Carol Speicher, Doris Randolph, & Linda Woodward, 6 brothers – Marion Sawyer, Carl Sawyer, Robert Sawyer, James Sawyer, Frank Sawyer, & Arthur Sawyer

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN 46567.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, 130 Red Coach, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Memorial envelopes will be available in the funeral home.
