Mary I. Weldy, 85, of Goshen, IN passed away at 9:25 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Greencroft Healthcare in Goshen. She was born on September 19, 1928 in
North Baltimore, OH to Joseph H. & Naomi M. (Rider) Whetsel.
She graduated in 1946 from North Baltimore High School and was married to Dewey Weldy who preceded her on March 4, 1993. She moved to Goshen in 1976 from Fort Wayne. She was formerly employed at Goshen Parks Dept., Barth Manufacturing in Milford for 20 years, Ray Eberhard attorney in Goshen, & Dee Russell & Spahn Attorneys in Elkhart.
She was a member of the Sugar Grove Church in Goshen.
She is survived by:
3 Sons – Michael (Shirley) Miller of Elkhart; Bradford Miller of Elkhart; & Stephen (Melissa) Miller of Stevensville, MI
3 Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother – Lloyd Whetsel, & infant twin sister.
Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Sugar Grove Church of the Brethren, 58512 Old CR 17, Goshen, IN 46528. Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the church with Pastor Cary Perdue former pastor of the church officiating. Burial will take place in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
